Our very own Kapuso Julie Anne San Jose is known for being a multi-hyphenate celebrity. She’s a singer-songwriter-TV host-model-actress-instrumentalist. It seems like she can do it all.
This year has been a year full of blessings and accomplishments for her. She’s won multiple awards like Personality of the Year from the Asia Music Icon Awards in Malaysia, and PPop’s Most Favorite Pop Female Artist of the Year, just to name a few.
She also sizzled as the cover girl of fashion and lifestyle magazines.
“Ang daming blessings ni Lord, ang daming opportunities. I’m really grateful,” she says with her hands clasped.
Today, Julie Anne added another feather to her cap as she was formally introduced as the newest brand ambassador for the iconic American brand, Lee Jeans.
James Parry, country manager of Lee Jeans, explained why Julie Anne is the perfect endorser for their brand. He says, “Over the course of Julie’s career, she’s gone from singer to songwriter to actress to host…and finally, a style icon.
“Her social media presence is glorified today and I think her authentic style is gonna help bring across the message of authentic clothing. She’s the perfect fit for us.”
Julie Anne then expressed her gratitude. She says, “I’m happy to be part of the Lee family. Of course, I feel blessed and I’m grateful. I’m excited for what’s in store for next year.”
Even before she was formally introduced as the new ambassador of the brand, the Asia’s Pop Diva has been seen rocking denim clothing on her Instagram for quite sometime now.
“Gusto ko comfortable ako, but at the same time fashionable.
What’s good about jeans is that they’re very versatile and pwede mo siya i-incorporate with any kind of outfit.”
It really seems like a perfect fit for Julie Anne to endorse a brand of a clothing item (denim jeans) that is as versatile as she is. And she expressed her excitement for the year 2020.
Julie Anne declares, “It’s gonna be a year of breakthroughs, I claim it. It’s gonna be great.”
